We leave on Wednesday

So who is impressed that all of these donations for AHOPE fit into these 3 bags!!! Thank you to all of have given all of this! How exciting for all of these children. If you still want to contribute cash, feel free to email me tomorrow and we can buy supplies there for them all.
So it is official, our flights are booked for Wednesday at 4:30 out of Atlanta. It is pretty difficult to describe how we are feeling. I remember watching our friends leave and watching others that we know bring home their children, and your insides just get excited. We are excited. We are nervous, we are anxious, we are testy, we are just overwhelmed by it all, yet at peace. Needless to say, imodium will be coming our way soon as both Andy and I are physically feeling all of it :). We will arrive in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on Thursday night and will be there until the following Friday.

We will be taking a trip south hopefully to see where our children are from on Friday to Saturday, and then return to picking up Sydney on Saturday or Sunday morning. It is pretty amazing to think that we will have her in less than 6 days. You can imagine how long we have wanted to just hold her and look at her. We will be staying at a guest house and hopefully be able to update the blog as we can get internet service. We will be able to read messages by leaving them on the blog. You can sign in without an account I am pretty sure.

We will be back in Atlanta next Friday at 1:45 and after customs, maybe 3:45. Many have asked about coming to the airport, any and all are welcome, just can't promise a time. You are welcome to call my Mom and she can update you.

Of course the big wildcard for the trip will be whether we will get to see Andrew. I am pretty certain we will get to see him, but as all can imagine, it will be difficult to visit and leave. Please pray for the strength and wisdom in all of this. We trust that God's timing is perfect; yet we will still pray for a miracle he could come home with us. Either way, we have peace, but just when you think of it, pray our hearts will not be troubled as we leave him.
