These pictures remind me of my childhood, especially Sydney at the door looking out watching the boys play in the snow. We have a picture of me watching my sisters play in the backyard with my Dad too, and I always thought it was so sad I had to stay inside. Now I get it (isn't that so true with all of life as an adult)! To put a one year old in snow gear and let her loose probably is just all work, no play. The boys thought snow was Christmas times ten. They watched it fall all day, got geared up for hot chocolate, and just had that little kid spirit all day of being aware that something special happened that day. Andy got to go to school two hours late so that was an extra treat.
